Tank Cook Beignets (French Doughnuts)
French Doughnuts from Cafe du Monde in New Orleans as Mardi Gras begins
Ingredients :
- 2 cups of Beignet Mix
- 7 oz of water
Directions:
- Add 2 cups of Beignet Mix to 7 ounces of water.
- Roll into 1/4 inch sheet on a powdered surface.
- Cut into rectangles
- Drop into hot oil until the pastry bubbles to the surface and is a fluffy golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy.
